Recent Projects
United States Army Department of Public Affairs
We've worked with the Army's Chief of Public Affairs for the past three years on their Advanced Strategic Leadership Development Program. The ASLDP is an in-depth course that trains Army senior leadership in effective strategies for dealing with the media, social media, legislators, and more.
In our segment of the course, we put the students into a mock interview environment, where they learn to handle a range of interview styles and hot-button questions. At the end of each interview we play back the clip for peer and trainer review.
At the end of a full day of training, we immediately transition into a high-intensity 60 minute edit session, where we and the Army Public Affairs staff select the soundbytes that best illustrate their teaching points. These clips are rapidly edited into a 6-7 minute highlights video, which is then shown at dinner - all within the one-hour break.
It's fast, intense, and high pressure, but it's a great project that we really enjoy working on several times each year.
California Optometric Association
Each year since 2004 we've created a conference promo for our friends at the California Optometric Association. This promo highlights their annual Optowest event in Southern California.
Over the years this project has taken a variety of forms, from featuring attendees telling us what they like about the conference, messages from Association leadership, and high-impact commercial segments with rapid-fire animation and graphics.
PGA Tournament Channels
In partnership with our friends at Total Tournament Solutions, we regularly provide video production services to PGA TOUR®, LPGA Tour, Champion's Tour, and Nationwide Tour golf events across the nation.
As part of our Tournament Channel package offering, we create a video loop that plays on monitors and videowalls throughout the tournament grounds. The programming includes features on tournament sponsors, course tours, Pro-Am highlights, Junior Clinics, and more, as well as closeup interaction with the players that most of the public never gets to experience.
In a business environment where professional sports are struggling to retain sponsors, the Tournament Channel concept is picking up a lot of steam, as it allows the tournaments to gain sponsor exposure during the hours of each day when the tournament isn't being broadcast live.
Quail Lakes Baptist Church Volunteer Mobilization
This video was created to show church members the benefits of volunteering in the ministries of the church. Combining interviews with current volunteers with footage of them in action, we created a motivational video that focuses less on the nuts and bolts of a specific opportunity, and more on the overall goal of service.
Significantly less flashy than your standard commercial or promotional spot, we chose to let the interviews speak for themselves, and stayed away from special effects or anything else that would detract from that message.
